ABC Saus Manis Sweet Sauce is an Indonesian sweet soy sauce. Sweetened with palm sugar, this sauce is thick and dark in colour. It can be used to add great flavour to hot or cold dishes, as a condiment, or as a marinade. ABC Saus Manis Sweet Sauce is a thick, rich, molasses textured, caramel-colored marinade, sauce and dip naturally sweetened with sun-dried palm tree sugar adds an aromatic, savory and umami sweet flavor to any dish.

PREPARATION

  • • Suggested Cooking Methods
  • • Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry:
  • 1. Over high heat, saute garlic and vegetables for 2 minutes
  • 2. Add Heinz Chicken broth and cook for another 3 minutes
  • 3. Add oyster sauce, ABC salty soy sauce, ABC sweet soy sauce, sugar, pepper
  • 4. Bring to boil, add corn starch mixture and simmer for 3 minutes or until sauce thickens
  • 5. Serve with steamed rice
  • • Tofu and Green Bean Stir Fry:
  • 1. Under high heat with 180 ml of oil, stir fry the tofu for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown
  • 2. Set aside and allow to drain
  • 3. Heat the remaining oil over high heat and saute garlic and shallot until fragrant
  • 4. Add the green beans, oyster sauce and ABC salty soy sauce and mix well
  • 5. Mix in tofu and serve with hot rice
  • • Sweet Chili Seafood Skewers:
  • 1. In a bowl, mix Heinz sweet thai chili and ABC sweet soy sauce
  • 2. Add shrimp (or prawns), scallops and cover
  • 3. Marinating for at least 15 minutes
  • 4. Thread the shrimp and scallops onto the skewers and grill
  • 5. Turn often and basting with the marinade for 5 minutes or until fully cooked
  • 6. Garnish with sprigs of mint and serve
